Jo Allcott - Team Manager

Speciality: Children in Care / Leaving Care Services

Jo is an experienced consultant who has worked in the social care recruitment sector since 2007. She started her recruitment career with Beresford Blake Thomas, supplying residential workers and nursery nurses to both local authority and private sector clients. She then progressed to recruiting within the qualified social work sector for both children and adult services vacancies. She has stayed within this area ever since.

Jo’s main area of interest has always been within the fostering and adoption arena. Since 2008 she has worked with a large number of independent fostering/adoption agencies and charities, supplying staff at all levels. She has also assisted with the outsourcing of their Form F and PAR assessments. Jo’s extensive knowledge of the family placement arena has made her one of the most respected consultants in her field. Her knowledge has enabled her to support numerous local authority, private and third sector clients, with hard-to-fill vacancies.

Jo has an excellent reputation with the clients she supports with some choosing to work with her exclusively. Jo has previously held the role of key account manager for a large fostering and adoption charity, being their first point of call for all interim and permanent vacancies nationally.

Jo is Hampton’s Resourcing's children in care specialist. She concentrates solely on the fostering, adoption, residential and leaving care arena and works on vacancies at assistant team manager level, through to assistant director level nationwide, recruiting both on a temporary and permanent basis.
