Hampton’s are currently recruiting for an Interim Service Manager, to work in a Local Authority in the North of England.
The role covers Fostering, Adoption and Leaving Care. This will be a 4-month contract and will be a full-time post. The role reports into the Head of Children’s Services.
The role requires a candidate with at least two years’ experience at Service Manager level; having held responsibility for strategically managing a fostering service; with a clear understanding of National Minimum Standards around fostering in a service where supervising social workers provide support for carers; undertake Form F and SGO and connected persons’ assessments and ensuring that fostering recruitment is at the top of their priority. A proven ‘track record’ of working within this field is essential.
Candidates will also be required to have a clear understanding of the requirements and statutory responsibilities for care leavers.
The day rate for this position is £450 per day and the role is inside of IR35.
