Hampton's are currently working with a not-for-profit agency who are in need of a permanent Adoption Service Manager in Birmingham.

The company provide a variety of services for all aspects of adoption - from birth to leaving care. This is a brand new role which will enable you to make it your own.

Brief job info:

  • A lot of support will be around you while you settle into the role
  • You will be the Registered Manager for the region
  • Cover the West Midlands region
  • Required to expand the region, develop the service and build the team
  • Ensuring maintenance of an effective quality of service delivery, whilst working within the framework of the agency and agreed agency policies
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with Local Authorities and RAAs
  • Report to Head of Service
  • Responsible for all social workers and support workers
  • Maintain positive outcomes with Ofsted

Requirements:

  • Social Work qualified
  • Experience at managerial level
  • Working experience of Adoption
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Someone who is dynamic and forward-thinking
  • Up to date knowledge of the latest regulations
  • Positive dealings with Ofsted
  • Willingness to be flexible
  • Driving Licence

Salary - up to £40k (dependent on experience)
