Hamptons are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a not-for-profit care provider who is looking for an Assistant Service Manager in Chatham, Maidstone. The client is extremely passionate about providing the best standard of care for people with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health issues and ABI and for this reason I am delighted to be finding them the perfect candidate for their vacancy.

We are now seeking a full-time Assistant Service Manager to join their team in Blackheath, managing this service together with a staff team of 15 Support Workers and a Service Manager.

We support two non-verbal individuals and one individual who requires 24 hour support due to being PEG feed.

Full time 39-hour position; Salary £25,859.

About you!

  • Experience supporting individuals who have disabilities and behaviours that challenge.
  • Have a genuine desire to help, develop and maintain high quality service provision for the people we support in this service appropriate to their assessed needs.
  • Have 2 years' experience of supervising a small to medium team.
  • Experienced with providing Person-Centred support and to be passionate about it.
  • Be able to manage own time.
  • NVQ Level 3, QCE level 5 or willing to obtain this.
  • Duties may include providing personal care and administration of medication.
  • To participate in the On-call rota and cover shifts is needed incl. sleep ins.
  • Working knowledge of CQC and other relevant regulations
