Children's Registered Manager - West Yorkshire - up to £55,000

Hampton's are working in partnership with a small Children's Services Provider who require a passionate Registered Manager to oversee the opening and running of their BRAND NEW HOME in the West Yorkshire region.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking to progress with a small but ambitious company who truly believes in bettering the lives of the vulnerable young people in their care.

Location: West Yorkshire

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Experienced Deputy Managers will be considered

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that services, support and care are provided person-centred, using person-centred approaches.
  • To contribute to the overall development of the home and to ensure compliance with the aims and objectives of the company.
  • Accountable for the day-to-day management by statutory regulations, policies and procedures of the Company.
  • The promotion of an environment conducive to a high standard of care in which young people can thrive and create positive and lasting memories.
  • To be responsible for recruiting staff within the facility in conjunction with the Responsible Individual and Board of Directors
  • To ensure that all recruitment is in line with the Company policy on safer recruitment.
  • To ensure that a robust recruitment process aligns with the Company Policy.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Must be an experienced individual holding an NVQ 5 in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Have at least three years' experience working in the children's residential care sector at a managerial level.
  • A previous track record of positive outcomes for the young people that you've previously worked with and liaising successfully with OFSTED.

Key Information:

  • Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
  • Monday to Friday (9am-5pm) with on call system
  • Paid DBS
