Deputy Area Manager - Kent - Up to £45K

Here at Hampton's Resourcing we are working hand in hand with a successful and innovative Independent Fostering Agency in their search for an experienced and motivated manager to join their Kent office as a Deputy Area Manager. This role will involve working in partnership with the Regional Manager to drive their success forward and to support the development and growth of a fantastic service. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leading the development of the carer base and local organisation to deliver growth in carer numbers and carer therapeutic care capabilities
• Supporting the Regional Manager to lead commerciality of the local organisation improving margins and profit contribution
• Ensuring effective supervision and performance management of a local staff team
• Supporting the Regional Manager to lead improvement programmes to enhance organisation capabilities, effectiveness, and efficiency to support carers
• Responsibility for Form F Assessments and quality assurance of the service

Skills and Experience:

• Social work degree or equivalent including Social Worker registration with Social Work England
• Experience of children's foster services and supervising social care staff
• Able to present material professionally both written and orally, inside and outside the service
• Experience of Local Authority customer and contract management
• Basic knowledge of Foster Care practice, including legal knowledge and the effect the care system has on young people

Salary: Up to £45K + paid mileage

Location: Ashford, Kent - home based with occasional office work
