For those agencies whose job it is to protect children and vulnerable people, the harsh reality is that if a sufficiently devious person is determined to seek out opportunities to work their evil, no one can guarantee that they will be stopped.  Our task is to make it as difficult as possible for them to succeed.
Bichard Report, 2004.

Hampton’s Resourcing make the safeguarding of vulnerable children and adults our top priority. We're committed to ensuring the highest standards of checks are carried out, and we regularly reassess our internal safeguarding procedures, making sure we are in line with all current legislation and new innovative ways of working.

We have a designated compliance co-ordinator assigned to thoroughly audit all candidate files prior to any placement beginning. This ensures that all of the candidate's relevant right to work and safeguarding documents have been checked and recorded. This level of attention to detail allows us to be confident in our own safeguarding processes knowing that the candidates we supply to local authorities, charities and private organisations are fully safeguarded.

Candidate Registration

To ascertain the suitability of a candidate to work within the social care arena, Hampton’s follow a strict candidate registration and vetting process.

After receiving a candidates CV our consultants will always try to arrange a suitable time to meet them and carry out a face-to-face interview to discuss the individual’s employment history, suitability for work, and to clarify any gaps in employment.

We will always request that our candidates supply the following documentation during the registration process:

  • A Completed Hampton’s Application & Candidate Interview Form.
  • Right to Work Documentation.
  • Proof of Address.
  • Qualification Certificates / HCPC Registration.
  • Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) / CRB Check.
  • Driving Documentation.
  • Referee Contact Details.
Safeguarding Our Clients

To give our clients that added peace of mind, we will always ask for our Temporary Placement Information Form (TPIF) to be reviewed, signed and returned prior to any candidate starting work. This form confirms our safeguarding procedures have been adhered to and that the client we're supplying is satisfied with the following information:

  • Our Candidate’s DBS Check Information.
  • Our Candidate’s HCPC Registration.
  • Our Candidates Limited or Umbrella Company Details.
  • Our Candidate’s References.
  • The Agreed Hourly or Daily Charge Rate.
