Hampton's Resourcing are working with a medium sized residential and education provider who are in need of a Registered Manager for a BRAND NEW HOME in North East Cumbria.

Salary: circa £42k (dependent on experience) + joining bonus + annual bonus

The post holder will be given the autonomy to 'make their mark' with setting up a new service, but with the help and support of an established organisation. You will be responsible for the delivery of care and protection for the children and young people living within the home. You will also ensure that residential staff engage with children and young people in all aspects of their daily lives in a planned and purposeful way. The organisation are very focussed on personal and professional development and provide fully funded training when required.

Essential requirements:

  • Management experience within residential childcare
  • Excellent knowledge of Ofsted requirements and standards
  • Proven track record with Ofsted
  • Minimum Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People or equivalent
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to undertake)
  • Full valid driving licence

Salary: circa £42k (dependent on experience) + joining bonus + annual bonus
